About EA of the Year

The Page Personnel EA of the Year is a highly regarded award now in its ninth year.

Recognising excellence in the EA and PA communities and highlighting the efforts of those hard at work behind the scenes, we are excited to announce State-based winners, a National Winner and a fresh format! Applicants will be invited to a workshop hosted by Executive Assistant Academy around the country on Thursday 24 October.

The prize

The judges will announce the State winners and overall Australian EA of the Year National winner on Friday 1 November, who will each win a luxury weekend getaway, plus many additional prizes.

A new format for 2019

We want to discover the best of the best EA and PA in the country. Based on tools developed by Executive Assistant Academy to help EAs and Executives better understand how they work together, the new process involves an executive survey assessment and EAs both providing written responses to the same set of questions. The assessment will deliver results that make comparison and overall assessing within the judging process much more robust and objective.

Who can apply

  • The award is open to EAs and PAs who perform EA duties
  • You must be currently employed to apply

How to apply

  • Complete the initial submission form on this webpage
  • A short assessment will be sent to your Executive to complete
  • Once completed by your Executive, an email with the same assessment will be sent to the EA who will see their manager’s response before completing with justifications and examples
  • An application is deemed complete when both the EA and Executive have completed their parts of the assessment
  • Upon completion by both parties the EA will be invited to an exclusive workshop hosted by Executive Assistant Academy covering how to elevate the effectiveness of the EA and Executive

Listen to what our former winners have to say

“Winning the award was a fantastic experience and I was so honoured! Besides a fabulous trip to New York, it opened up a wealth of new career opportunities for me: I met numerous inspiring colleagues in my field; conferences and companies started approaching me as a guest speaker for events and I loved helping other EAs find their way through mentoring opportunities.”
Megan Green, 2016 EA of the Year Winner

“There are so many good EAs out there at the moment, so I felt to be picked or shortlisted would be an honour in itself.”
Larissa Auditore, 2017 EA of the Year Winner
